Voltmeter, Ammeter and Shunt Calibration

These meters and shunts usually reside in test fixtures or panels.  They are often forgotten at calibration time.  As a general rule, if the meter is used to make a Pass or Fail determination it needs to be calibrated.

A common industry practice is to place a single Calibrated Label on a  test fixture that might house a dozen instruments.  How do you know that all the instruments are calibrated?  Consider placing a label on each instrument for improved operator confidence.
